Do I have to be of a certain faith to join the FCA Lacrosse team?

Answer: NO.  FCA Lacrosse North Carolina accepts players of any faith or creed.  While it is a Christian based organization that prays prior to, at half-time, and after each practice or game, you are not required to be of a specific faith to join.

Is there a cost to play for the FCA Lacrosse North Carolina team?

Answer: YES.  There is a cost, much like any other travel team....but less!  Because the Directors and Staff are not paid, and are very selective of the tournaments they attend and their costs, what you pay is basically at "cost" to play.  In fact, there are even fund raising opportunities to help pay the cost if you cannot afford to do so.  Please see the "Costs/Fees" and "Fundraising" sections of the main page for more details.

Is FCA Lacrosse North Carolina a Select "Recruiting Team"?

Answer: NO...and YES.  While the team is a select team in the aspect that there will be tryouts for summer and fall sessions each year, our main purpose is that of teaching and not marketability.  You join FCA lacrosse to have the opportunity to play (ALL members of the team will play!) and learn both about lacrosse and Christ.  The programs involvement as a recruiting team is a direct effect of your play.  The Directors and staff will help you through the college recruiting process if you chose to do so...If you just want to play, that is fine as well.
